In the UK, Domino’s isn’t halal, but most of its chicken is. Domino’s UK says, “We don’t promote our stores or meat as halal approved. However, most of our chicken (sourced from our trusted suppliers in Thailand) is certified as halal by the religious authorities.” The exceptions are chicken wings and pulled chicken. The shared oven question

Every UK Domino’s also makes pizzas with pepperoni, ham and bacon. A Bradford Domino’s manager told The Halal Life that pizzas aren’t made separately from those with ham and other meats, and that they go through the same oven.

Scholars differ on this:

• Many Muslims eat halal chicken or vegetarian pizzas from these stores, because the food itself contains nothing haram and dry baking in the same oven doesn’t transfer pork.
• Others avoid Domino’s because pork toppings are handled on the same counters and utensils, and grease or pieces can get onto other pizzas.

If you order, a vegetarian pizza or one with halal chicken avoids pork ingredients, but it can’t rule out contact with pork.
